Justice and Hope - photography of Jenn Dobson

4 February - 4 May 2008

Sofitel Melbourne

Jenn Dobson is passionate about photography and has dedicated herself to a life of significance. Her visual documentation of the children throughout India and South East Asia captures moments in time that draw the viewer into another realm. Each photograph embraces the human spirit and paints a thousand words.

Profits from the sale of photographs in the exhibition go to Jacob’s Well, whose vision is for justice and hope for the desperately poor throughout the world by virtue of improved health, knowledge and quality of life. Jacob’s Well provides solutions to help break the poverty cycle through different community development programs such as sinking fresh water wells, establishing health clinics, adult literacy classes, work skills training, and providing full education for tribal and slum children. This is done by working in partnership with the local people.

Embrace the vision and enter the visual journey. Works will be on display from 4th February to 4th May 2008 in the Atrium Gallery on Level 35 at Sofitel Melbourne. For more information about Jacob’s Well go to www.jacobswell.org.au
